Crisis Mitigation: Anticipating and Handling Potential Emergencies that Impact Lodging Properties
Learn to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies that could occur at your property or in your community to best address guest and employee safety and public relations concerns.

When a crisis breaks out in your community, hotels are put in a very unique position. Since lodging properties are often viewed as a refuge for travelers during a disaster, property operators must adaptive and ready to assist. A crisis can also develop onsite at a property, requiring special preparedness as well.  Panelists will provide examples of best practices, and highlight current trends and lessons learned from past emergencies.

Panelists: John Busch, US Department of Homeland Security; Carla Minsky, Armadillo Marketing; Paul Fuerbringer, Society Insurance
