Fisher & Phillips offering Free Webinar – October 14, 2010
“Employers may think their OSHA recordkeeping logs and procedures are fully compliant, only to learn after an OSHA inspection and, in some cases, hundreds of thousands of dollars in penalties, that they were not.
OSHA has launched a full frontal attack with the implementation of its National Emphasis Program on recordkeeping and, at the same time, is directing inspectors to review a company’s Form 300 Logs of Work Related Injuries and Illnesses for up to five previous years for violations of the recordkeeping rules. The end result is that many employers are receiving five and six digit penalties for those violations.
This webinar, presented by attorneys from the Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Management Practice Group at Fisher Phillips LLP, will examine the many recordkeeping pitfalls that employers face, especially those with multiple locations. The program will cover how to coordinate your injury and illness recordkeeping with other recordkeeping requirements and how employers can effectively use recordkeeping to improve their current safety and health management program.
This hour long webinar is free, but registration is required. Once your registration is complete you will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to join the webinar. Participation in this webinar has been approved for one hour of HRCI credit. Click here to register and for more information on this and other events.”
