Event Code Of Conduct

 

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, sponsors and staff, the following guidelines are in place for this event:

  • Admission will be limited. The event seating capacity will be under 50% for the event space capacity 
  • Meeting and dining rooms will be set with seating to accommodate proper social distancing, and the setup may not be changed without the prior written consent of WH&LA.
  • Vendor displays will be spaced at least 6' from each other in the break area.
  • Masks covering the nose and mouth will be required of all attendees, other than when eating and drinking.
  • Speakers and presenters will not be required to wear a mask during their presentation, however they are required to maintain a distance of at least 6' from any other person.

By attending the Wisconsin Lodging Symposium, attendees agree to the following:

 Before Leaving Home

  • Follow relevant guidance provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), or your local health authority.
  • Adhere to government issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you will be travelling to and the region you are travelling from.
  • Evaluate your own health and that of people you are in close contact with; contact WH&LA if you have concerns.
  • Stay home if you feel sick or if you no longer feel comfortable attending the event.

On-site During the Event & Social Activities

  • Agree to wear a mask or facial covering. 
     
  • Follow guidance from your local health authority, for everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses including:
     

    • Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
       

    • Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
       

    • Covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing. Throw used tissues in the trash.
       

    • Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
       

  • Adhere to social distance protocols put in place by WH&LA, the KI Center and the Hyatt Regency Green Bay and respect others’ personal space.
     

  • If you feel unwell or are experiencing flu-like symptoms during the event, go to the Registration Desk immediately. If you feel unwell or are experiencing flu-like symptoms in your hotel room or somewhere outside of the event, call the Hyatt Regency Green Bay front desk to report it and do not return to the event space.
